Yes, we can collect from alternative harbours such as Tsilivi, Alykanas, Mikro Nisi, Agios Nikoloas, Agios Sostis and Zakynthos Town. If the harbour is on the route of the tour you have chosen there is no extra charge, if the boat would travel addiitonal miles to collect you there would be an extra cost. Enquire to confirm price.

Onboard

Yes, you are welcome to bring onboard any food or drinks.

Yes, let your captain know if you wish to do so. We can dock the boat for lunch at a taverna by the sea. (time permitting)

If there is unsafe weather/sea conditions on the day of your trip we will try to rearrange for another day if possible or visit a different area of the island if the sea conditions allow, if this it not possible you would receive a full refund.

On our private tours (exluding standard cruise and self drive options) we include snorkel masks on the boat. We do not include the mouth piece for hygiene reasons. You are welcome to bring your own snorkelling equipment.

Yes, all boats have lifejackets, liferings, first aid and all safety equipment onboard. Ask you captain if you need help locating anything.

Yes our trips are suitable for children, we would suggest booking a larger boat if you have children for more comfort and safety. Young babies are welcome onboard however we advice booking a short trip not a full day as if the baby is unhappy onboard or you are uncomfortable you can easily return whenever you are ready.

Places we visit

The turtles are easier to spot in the south of the island, they are not on Turtle Island itself but in the shallow waters of the national marine park. Your captain will try to find turtles for you to see however this is never guaranteed 100% as this is nature! There are also regulations to protect the turtles including speed and distance in this area. You may get lucky and encounter turtles anywhere on the island as they travel around the the Ionian Sea, the area of Alykanas has become another favourite spot of theirs.

Often this aspect of the trip can be skipped over if you wish as it can be time consuming and often the area is very busy with small boats.

This question depends on what you are looking for….If you wish to see shipwreck beach with not so many people the best time would be very early in the morning or late afternoon. However the sun is not fully on the beach at these times.

If you want to see the shipwreck in full sun with the strongest blue reflections the best time is between 10am – 2pm (depending on the time of the season). But please bear in mind this is a very popular area and will be busy at all times during high tourist season.

No, currently Shipwreck beach is restricted for safety reasons. You are able to enter the bay by boat and take pictures from the boat. You are NOT permitted to anchor the boat or get off the boat to swim/enter the beach.
